Australia cricketer Ash Gardner and South Africa’s Mignon du Preez took superb catches in their ICC Cricket World Cup match and their video is viral.

Mignon Du Preez muscled the heave over deep midwicket. Just when it looked like the ball was to clear the rope, Ash Gardner timed her jump to perfection to take the one-handed catch.

South Africa, sent to bat first, made 271-5 in their 50 overs. Skipper Sune Luus and opener Laura Wolvaardt made half-centuries.
Laura Wolvaardt top-scored with 134-ball 90 with six boundaries. Sune Luus chipped in with 52 runs from 51 deliveries. She scored six fours.

Australia skipper Meg Lanning led the side from the front with her unbeaten century. Her knock helped the side chase down the 272-run target in 45.2 overs. The right-handed batter played a sublime knock of 135 from 130. She had 15 boundaries and a six to her name.
Tahlia McGrath struck 35-ball 32 while Ashleigh Gardner and Annabel Sutherland scored 22 runs each.
