10 Ways to Increase Facebook Engagement and Improve Newsfeed Exposure

10 Ways to Increase Facebook Engagement and Improve Newsfeed Exposure

The rules of the social media game have changed once again in the latest Facebook update.

Businesses that once relied on exposure in their business page follower's newsfeed are now struggling to get any of their page posts to appear. Facebook is now looking at business page post engagement to determine how many followers get to see a post in their newsfeed.

As a result, the transformation of this algorithm forces entrepreneurs and business owners to look for creative ways to accelerate engagement and improve exposure to their news feeds. Have you noticed a decrease in your views and reached your Facebook business page? Are you looking for ways to engage people more with your posts?

If so, then it's time to get more strategic with your posts and always post with the aim of getting likes, shares, and most importantly, comments with each post. Here are ten strategies to increase your Facebook engagement:

1) Follow on a popular post Review your Facebook stats in the Insights field and see posts that have received high engagement in the past. Take note of the topic of that post and create a new follow-up post on the same topic.

2) Power up with pictures Posting an image that attracts the attention of your followers. Always think about how you can tell a visual story with your post. Your phone's camera makes my quick shot quick and easy to post.

You will always think about what you can visually share with your audience and ask leading questions to gather discussion threads.

3) Time is everything when there is no online nonsense posting is not useless. Make the most of your posts by looking at your Facebook Insights statistics to see if your audience is online.

Many users are most active in the evenings after work but not always. Your insights will tell you the real story of when the best time to post is. Your goal is to post when you have the most eyeballs for viewers.

4) Connecting using Facebook Live Video gives fans an incredible sense of connection with you. Create a regular schedule and do regular Facebook live shows.

Shoot weekly tips. Offer live Q&A sessions. Stay alive in the “how-to” segments. Or share spontaneous videos of your travels and events as you travel.

5) Create content that resonates It is important that you create posts that resonate and appeal to your ideal target market. Do this by paying attention to the questions your audience is asking. Follow top influencers to see insights about your field.

One of the best tools to use is BuzzMumo. Search for keywords that are relevant to your industry and show you the most shared content related to that phrase/keyword on social media.

6) Generate anticipation Give your audience teasers about exciting things you may post in the future. Help develop an appetite and curiosity that will make them look forward to your posts.

Ready to launch your new website, book, or program? Create some buzz of anticipation that is exposed.

7) Keep the conversation going Keep an eye on the replies to your posts and do what you can to keep the conversation going. Provide personal answers that will listen to you and show feedback. Ask questions to deepen the discussion.

8) Be authentic When you really open yourself up to your audience they feel close to you. To be vulnerable. Show your warts. Acknowledge your mistakes. Celebrate with them. Your tribe feels like an important part of your family in all your experiences.

9) Spark the dialogue to ask engagement questions. Post a question that your audience wants to be answered. What do you think about Black? What experiences have you had? What is your opinion What is your favorite black? What are your thoughts on this?

People like to share their feelings when asked. Find creative ways to ask leading questions that require only a “yes” or “no” response but not too deep, which can save any response. 10) Create viral-worthy content If you study memes and shareable posts, they all share one common thread: they are either funny, informative, beautiful, powerful, thoughtful, or emotional that relate to your audience.
